Fit Kids is all about exercise life skills: fundamental movement skills that build body and brain connections, setting children up for success in:

Lesson content is designed and reviewed by an expert team of early childhood education, development, movement and exercise professionals.
Coaches are selected based on their commitment to our common goals, and are encouraged to adapt the lesson plans to particular children’s needs as they see fit, giving them the freedom to inject their own personality and expertise into the program.
Our coaches are the owners of their own Fit Kids business, meaning that Fit Kids is a career for them, not a part time job.
We don’t use all kinds of weird and wonderful equipment, because we like children to be able to repeat what they’ve learnt at home and at school.
Children are active and/or moving for the whole class: there’s almost no standing in queues or waiting for turns at Fit Kids.
Our aim is to become that positive voice inside your child’s head, spurring them on to try hard, persevere, solve problems, support their peers, manage their emotions, etc.
Our classes are fun, engaging and entertaining, but children also learn that sometimes mastering difficult skills can be hard work. Learning to notice their improvement week on week is all part of the Fit Kids way.
All of our classes are presented either as an in-school program where the school signs up a whole class or grade, or as an extra-mural program where parents sign up privately for classes at school or at a private venue.
Classes for our littlest Fit Kids are 30 minutes long, and are usually presented in the morning at schools where teachers can facilitate. It’s a fun, high-energy introduction to the Fit Kids way, addressing developmental milestones, and building a sense of self-pride in what each individual’s little body is capable of.
Pre-schoolers: 4 to 6 year olds
This is our main program, offered by all Fit Kids coaches. Classes are 40-minutes long and are offered once a week, mostly at schools. Pre-schoolers are so open to the Fit Kids way of thinking, and we just love leaving them with such a concrete sense of all the amazing things they can achieve if they apply themselves and keep trying.
Foundation Phase: 7 to 9 year olds
40-minute classes for Grade 1 to 3 children are an add-on program to our pre-school classes. Our core program is adapted to suit the needs of slightly older children, as a focus on fundamental movements is still key in the Foundation years.
Intermediate Phase: 9 to 12 year olds
Classes for older children who are not as active as they should be, or who’ve come to think that exercise is not for them because they’re not sporty, are growing in popularity. The focus here is on tracking progress and helping children to regain confidence in what their body is capable of – every body is capable of physical strength and fitness for the sake of health and wellbeing.
