Fit Kids winter holiday adventures

Fit Kids fishingIn the last few weeks I’ve had many, many conversations that go like this… Simon, what activities have you got on this holiday? Simon, are you doing holiday programmes? Simon, my daughter is desperate to go fishing with you, please let me know what holiday things you’re doing? Simon, my son is dying to go to Peers cave, and only wants you to take him.  Are you going this holiday?
So, as much as I was feeling like a couple of weeks of hiding away, my wife has reminded me that I’m not good at sitting at home, and neither are my children or yours.  So taking them all hiking and fishing to get out of your hair for a couple of hours is the right thing to do!

About Simon

I'm a dad, a teacher and a business owner, doing my best to make every day count. I'm determined to shape the way the next generation feel about exercise, and I'm doing this by showing children the difference between enjoying exercise as part of healthy lifestyle, and participating in exercise as a means to perform in sport. I'm also helping parents learn how to include exercise as a normal part of daily life, and working with schools and teachers to change the way they present exercise to children in the foundation years.
